Welcome to my professional teaching portfolio! I am excited to be entering the teaching profession in a time when technology allows us to connect so easily with our global society. I embody this philosophy in my high school English classroom with the mantra, "Know your world." This global awareness was something passed down to me by my high school English teacher, and is something I plan on passing to my students. Through exploring texts and sharing ideas through writing and discussion, my classroom is a place where students begin to know and shape their world by being active learners and contributors.
I believe every student has a story worth sharing.
Without them, there would be no content.
